Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, 54, was attacked by an intruder at his Mumbai residence in the early hours of Thursday, January 16, 2025. The assailant entered Khan’s Bandra home around 2:30 a.m., leading to a confrontation during which Khan sustained six stab wounds, two of which are serious.
Khan was promptly taken to Lilavati Hospital at approximately 3:30 a.m. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the hospital’s Chief Operating Officer, reported that one of the more severe wounds is near his spine, and doctors will determine the extent of the damage post-surgery.
At the time of the incident, Khan was at home with his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor, and their two children, Taimur and Jeh. Immediately following the assault, the intruder left the area.Mumbai Police are searching for the attacker and started investigation towards.
Saif Ali Khan, son of renowned cricketer Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore, is a prominent figure in Indian cinema, with a career spanning over three decades and more than 70 films and television series to his credit.
As of now, there has been no official statement from Khan’s family. Updates on his condition and the progress of the investigation are awaited.
