Engineering Graduates – GenC Next, GenC Pro & GenC:
- cohort of certain B.E., B.Tech., M.E., and M. Tech. students in 2024 (streams including fashion, food, and leather technology are not included).
- Students must have a steady academic record with at least 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG, and PG (rounded to the nearest 59.9% is not permitted).
- All new hires must have a minimum cumulative grade of 60% in their degree program and no outstanding debts at the time of joining.
- CGPA to percentage conversion should be appropriate in accordance with institution standards.
- Students who owe money are not eligible.
Note:
- It is essential to have the freedom to work from any Cognizant office location during a certain shift using any technology.
- All Indian nationals, OCIs, and PIOs who are now living in India are eligible.
- Only the registered mail ID in Superset will be used to deliver communications to students. It will be regarded as the primary email address and has to be their personal mail ID. Until Full Time Employment (FTE) onboarding, this email address should not be altered during the employment process.

Data Structures and Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, Maven, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring REST, Advanced Python, Advanced Cloud Fundamentals, ASP.Net Core, SQL Server, Entity framework Core, ASP.Net Core Web API, Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript), Python, Oracle, SQL/PLSQL, and Cloud (AWS, Azure, and GCP).

- Students should possess consistent academic record with minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (rounding off 59.9% is not allowed)
- At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum 60% aggregate in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears
- Appropriate CGPA to % conversion to be considered as per university norms
- Students with standing arrears are NOT eligible.

- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location in a given shift timing and technology is mandatory.
- Open to Indian nationals / OCIs / PIOs who are currently residing in India.

GenC Pro: Students should not only be technically proficient but also have expertise in enterprise platforms, products, and specific technologies. These include Cybersecurity, Oracle, Salesforce, Mulesoft, Pega, SAP ABAP, SAP Basis, and ServiceNow. Additionally, obtaining an industry-accredited certificate in these areas is essential for demonstrating their skills.
GenC – Job description:
- Understand business requirements, raise clarifications, create documents
- Develop, maintain, test, debug and deploy code as per the requirement specifications
- Understand the data requirements and develop test scenarios
- Understand the Agile application development environment, deliverables due and follow the SDLC
- Create low level design for components
- Identify and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Proactively address issues and work on mitigating points of failure
- Take ownership to deliver on goals specified in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate as a member of project team in meetings and technical sessions to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions
- Continuously upskill/reskill and cross skill to scale up to new technologies
- Possess excellent communication skills.

- PAN card. It is a mandatory requirement for onboarding. Please ensure that your last name, father’s name, and other details are accurate. Otherwise, background verification may fail. Additionally, if the last name is not updated or if the PAN card name does not match the registered name, the verification process will not be successful.
