Detailed Eligibility – GenC Campus Drive:
GenC – Programmer Analyst Trainee:
- 2025 cohort of specific B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. (Excluding streams such as Leather technology, Food technology, Fashion technology, etc.).
- Students are required to have uniform academic performance, maintaining at least 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (rounding off 59.9% is disallowed).
- Students who have outstanding arrears are NOT eligible.
Note:
- It is essential to have the flexibility to work from any Cognizant office within a specified shift and with the same technology.
- Available to Indian citizens/OCIs living in India at present.
Mandatory documents:
For registration:
- My resume is attached with my latest passport-size photograph.
- Industry accredited certificate if available to be uploaded mandatorily
For interview: All academic documents, including the college ID card, X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG mark sheets.
For onboarding:
PAN card – In the event that a PAN card is not available, please apply for it. It is a mandatory requirement for onboarding. Please ensure that your last name, father’s name, and other details are accurate. Please note that background verification will fail if the last name is not updated or if the PAN card name does not match the registered name.
A passport / Voter ID card is required for verifying nationality while joining Cognizant.

Note:
- Please be aware that Cognizant has the exclusive authority to make the final decision regarding the mapping of skill clusters for technical assessment. If chosen, you should be adaptable to learning any skill areas during training as per business requirements.
- To qualify for a technical interview, it is compulsory to take the Communication, Aptitude, and Technical assessments.
- A subset of selected candidates will be offered internships based on their skills, business demand, performance, and the availability of provisional certificates.
- Other chosen candidates will be onboarded as Full Time Employees (FTE) after they successfully complete their engineering degree.
