After spreading pesticides on the field, a guy in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, died as a result of not washing his hands. According to authorities cited by news agency PTI, the event occurred late on Saturday night.

On Saturday, the man—who was identified as 27-year-old Kanhaiya—went to apply pesticides to the crops. When he got home, he sat down to dinner and refused to wash his hands despite his wife’s insistence. According to Station House Officer (SHO) Ranjana Sachan, the guy brushed off his wife’s worry over not washing his hands as unimportant.

According to authorities cited by news agency PTI, the event occurred late on Saturday night. On Saturday, the man—who was identified as 27-year-old Kanhaiya—went to apply pesticides to the crops.

When Kanhaiya began feeling ill after supper, things took a turn for the worst. His health quickly deteriorated and he felt sleepy. According to the officer, they took him to a hospital right away, where medical professionals pronounced him dead.

The officer stated that the authorities gave the corpse to the family after completing the postmortem.

Pesticide deaths : Reports of pesticide poisoning deaths are not unusual. In a related case, a 19-year-old boy died in 2023 in Pune, Maharashtra, after reportedly inadvertently ingesting pesticide in a servant’s chamber on Balewadi High Street.
